  • New Recepion and Nursery Play area

  • Aladdin Trouble

    Key Stage 2 pantomime of Aladdin Trouble was a huge success. The children worked very hard and put on 3 amazing shows for everyone. Thank you to all Key Stage 2 children for their hard work.

  • Summer Fayre

    Thank you to Friends of Crookesbroom for organising the Summer Fayre. Their hard work definitely paid off as we raised £504.64. Thank you to everyone who attended- it was a great success!

  • Attendance Reward Summer

  • Year 5 and 6 visit

    Year 5 and 6 had an amazing day at Murton park where they had the opportunity to be Vikings for the day. They participated in tasks such as; making bread and working the farm, watching and guarding the fort, making beautiful pottery and learning to become hunters. Everyone enjoyed the day despite a little bit of rain!

  • Pink Pig Farm

    10th June 2016

    Dragon Class had a fanastic time at Pink Pig Farm. They had to wake up the hens and then collect the eggs and even helped to feed the animals. Then they had a tractor ride and saw lots of pigs! All the children were amazing and enjoyed themselves.

  • Race to Read Spring

    These are all children who managed to read at home 3 or more times every week and reached the top of the RACE TO READ chart. Well Done!

  • Imagination Library

    The Imagination Library posts a FREE new book to your child every month from birth to 5 years of age and all you have to do is regsiter your child. A love of books can start at an early age and we hope that you and your child enjoy reading together. Follow the link below to regsiter your child to receive a new book every month. Available for children aged between 0-5 yeras old.

  • National Coal Mining Museum

    28th April 2016

    Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic day at the National Coal Mining Museum. All the children braved the underground tour which helped us understand the harsh working conditions of miners. Children from both classes represented our school well!

    We are supporting the charity NSPCC and would like to help riase money by doing a 'Meaningful Maths Challenge'. Children have been sent home with sponsor form to complete and return by 26th April. We would like to thank you, in advance, for all sponsor donations.
